The Taunton and Nemasket rivers are places of great beauty in any season. Spend a day developing your own passion and talent in an introductory class shooting spectacular photos of this unmatched splendor. Snap a shot of a doe and her fawn as they move slowly through the shaded woods. Capture images of bald eagles, great blue herons, loons, and other nesting birds. The beauty is always here. Come experience it.
Fee: $75.00
Includes: 35mm film, Developing, your choice of canoe or kayak, guide, and photography instructor.

The Lake Rico Hike and paddle trips combine the best of both worlds, great hiking trails, and some of the best lake paddling found anywhere.

Cost: Adults: $40.00; 

Youth 13-17 years $30.00

Children: 6-12 years $15.00 (In the same boat with two Adults)

Includes: Safety & paddling instructions, guide, your choice of canoe or kayak, and a delicious picnic lunch.

We start this trip in the early morning paddling the Upper Nemasket River. We will see many varieties of birds such as eagles, herons, osprey, hawks, and numerous song birds in this pristine habitat while exploring the diversity of the river ecosystem. Trip length is about 4 hrs.

We start this special trip before sunset on nights with plenty of moonlight. We paddle stretches of the Taunton River, experiencing the magic sights and sounds of the outdoors at night. Trip length is about 3 hrs.

Cost: 

Adults $35.00; Youth 13-17 years $25.00

Children: 6-12 years $10.00 (In the same boat with two adults)

Dates: Fri. 6/16, Sat. 7/15, Wed 8/16

We start this trip at our Taunton River Base, and paddle through the change from mostly fresh water to predominantly salt water at Dighton Rock State Park. We observe the changes in vegetation that occur along this scenic stretch of the Taunton River. Trip length is about 4-5 hrs.

This full day program introduces kids ages 8-13 to basic kayaking skills in a safe and fun environment. The instructors have numerous instructional games that will keep kids interested and learning throughout the day. Cost: $40.00 (Includes equipment) 9:00-4:00

Dates: Thursdays 5/29 through 8/24

Explore the lush wooded countryside and crystal clear waters of the Palmer River while learning the basics of canoeing or kayaking. There is something both peaceful and exciting about being out in such a craft. Open to both adults and children (6-12) accompanied by a responsible adult. We meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Palmer River Base in Rehoboth

All trips include canoe or kayak, guide, instructions, life jackets, paddles, and  transportation  

We begin this trip with a paddle down the scenic Taunton River, enjoying the captivating fall foliage. We take out at Camp Titicut in Bridgewater. There, we will gather around the campfire to listen to ghost stories told by author Edward Lodi
