This put in was made famous by Ken Weber's book: "Canoeing Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut" The put in up river of the bridge provides some exciting quick water. The put in below the bridge is excellent access without the quick water. This is a relatively long trip so pack a lunch and bring plenty of energy.
